Product Description
The Accucold ARS6PV is a purpose-built vaccine refrigerator designed for professional storage environments that require stable refrigerated conditions. This ADA-height model measures 32.5 inches high and features adjustable temperature control from +2 to +8 degrees C. A microprocessor controller is mounted externally to help reduce door openings and protect stored contents from ambient exposure, while the buffered probe in a glycol-filled bottle is paired with an additional air sensor for more accurate temperature monitoring. Current and min/max temperatures can be viewed in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree.
For added storage protection, the unit includes audible and visual temperature alarms, plus alerts for power failure, door open conditions, and sensor failure. Remote alarm contacts are located at the rear, and a 1/2 inch probe port on the right side allows connection of additional monitoring devices. Inside, forced air cooling with one internal fan helps promote temperature stability and quick recovery after the door is opened, while adjustable cycle defrost operation is designed to help avoid temperature spikes. The interior includes adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves, LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch, and a white powder-coated metal liner for durability and improved temperature retention.
The ARS6PV also includes a factory-installed antimicrobial handle with a powder-coated finish and naturally occurring silver ions, a self-closing reversible door with right-hand swing, a factory-installed lock with two keys, and strong magnetic gaskets for a secure seal. The white cabinet and blue-accent control panel provide a clean professional appearance. This model uses hydrocarbon refrigerant for an energy-efficient refrigeration solution and is compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems.
