Product Description
The Accucold ARG6PV is a 6 cu. ft. all-refrigerator designed for vaccine, pharmacy, and medication storage in a compact ADA-height format. It is set up for use in applications that support CDC, VFC, and VFA storage guidelines, and it includes an externally located microprocessor temperature controller to reduce door openings and help protect stored contents. The adjustable control range allows temperature management from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius, while a buffered probe in a glycol-filled bottle and a separate air sensor work together to provide accurate temperature monitoring.
This unit includes current and min/max temperature display in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree, along with audible and visual alarms for out-of-range temperatures. Additional alerts include power failure, door open, and sensor failure alarms. For added monitoring flexibility, the refrigerator is equipped with remote alarm contacts and a 1/2 inch probe port. A hospital grade cord with green dot plug is included for added safety in busy environments.
Inside, the ARG6PV uses adjustable cycle defrost operation and forced air cooling with an internal fan to support temperature stability and faster recovery after door openings. The interior features adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves, LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch, and a white powder-coated metal interior for durability and better temperature retention. The white cabinet is paired with a blue accented control panel, and the double pane tempered glass door provides a clear view of contents.
Additional convenience features include a factory-installed antimicrobial handle with silver ions, a self-closing reversible door with right-hand swing, a factory-installed lock with two keys, and magnetic gaskets for a secure seal. This model uses hydrocarbon refrigerant for an energy efficient refrigeration solution and is compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems.
