Product Description
Part of Accucold's Pharma-Vac Performance Series, the ARG1PV is a 1 cu.ft. upright refrigerator purpose-built to support vaccine storage needs in accordance with CDC, VFC, and VFA guidelines. It features an externally located microprocessor temperature controller with an adjustable range from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius, helping reduce door openings and limit exposure to ambient conditions. A buffered probe housed in a glycol-filled bottle is used to better reflect stored product temperature, while an additional sensor monitors air temperature for improved control.
The unit includes a current and min/max temperature display in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree, along with audible and visual alarms for temperature excursions. Additional alarms provide alerts for power failure, door open conditions, and sensor failure. For added monitoring capability, the refrigerator includes remote alarm contacts and a 1/2" probe port on the right side. A hospital grade cord with green dot plug is included.
Inside, the ARG1PV uses adjustable cycle defrost operation and forced air cooling with an internal fan to support stable temperatures and quick recovery after door openings. Adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves can be positioned in 1/2" increments for flexible storage. The interior also includes LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch and a white powder coated metal liner for durability and temperature retention. The cabinet has a white finish with a blue accented control panel, a factory-installed antimicrobial handle, a double pane tempered glass door, a factory-installed lock, and self-closing door action. The unit is compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems and uses hydrocarbon refrigerant for an energy-efficient storage solution.
