Product Description
The Accucold ARS3PV is a purpose-built all-refrigerator for vaccine, medication, and pharmacy applications. It offers an adjustable temperature range from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius and uses an externally located microprocessor controller to help reduce door openings and limit exposure to ambient air. A glycol-filled buffered probe and additional air sensor work together to provide more accurate temperature management, while the digital display shows current and minimum/maximum temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree.
For monitoring and security, this unit includes audible and visual temperature alarms, along with power failure, door open, and sensor failure alerts. Remote alarm contacts and a 1/2 inch probe port allow connection to additional monitoring equipment. Inside, adjustable cycle defrost operation helps reduce temperature fluctuations, and forced air cooling with an internal fan supports uniform temperature distribution and faster recovery after door openings.
The interior features white powder coated metal construction, LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch, and adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves that can be repositioned in 1/2 inch increments. Other standard features include a factory-installed antimicrobial handle, self-closing reversible door, factory-installed lock with two keys, strong magnetic gaskets, and a hospital grade cord with green dot plug. The unit is also compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems and uses hydrocarbon refrigerant for an energy efficient solution.
