Product Description
The Accucold ARG8PV is an upright all-refrigerator designed for vaccine, pharmacy, and medication applications. It offers an adjustable temperature range from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius and uses an externally located microprocessor controller to reduce door openings and help protect stored contents from ambient air exposure. A buffered probe encased in a glycol-filled bottle is paired with an additional air sensor to help provide stable temperature management, while the current and minimum/maximum temperature display can be read in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree.
For added monitoring support, this refrigerator includes audible and visual temperature alarms, as well as power failure, door open, and sensor failure alerts. Remote alarm contacts are located in the rear, and a 1/2" probe port on the right side allows connection of additional monitoring devices. Inside, optimized forced air cooling with two internal fans helps maintain uniform temperatures and supports faster recovery after door openings. Adjustable cycle defrost operation is used to help avoid temperature spikes.
The cabinet includes seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves, LED interior lighting with an on/off rocker switch, and a white powder-coated metal interior for durability and improved temperature retention. The double pane tempered glass door provides full visibility of contents, while the self-closing door is user-reversible and ships with a right-hand swing. A factory-installed lock with two keys, powerful magnetic gaskets, and a hospital-grade cord with green dot plug are also included. The antimicrobial handle is powder-coated with naturally occurring silver ions to help reduce germ spread. This model is compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems and uses hydrocarbon refrigerant for an energy-efficient storage solution.
