Product Description
AliMed SafeStraw is a discreet reusable straw holder that helps control the amount of liquid drawn through the straw at one time. Its small fluid chamber, one-way valve, and internal float work together to regulate flow and deliver approximately one teaspoon per suck. When suction stops, the float drops back into place so the device is ready for the next sip. This design can help reduce the risk of aspiration or choking by limiting the volume delivered with each draw.
The box includes 12 single-use drinking straws and 12 reusable SafeStraws in a mixed assortment of six white units for thin liquids and six blue units for nectar-thickened fluids. The SafeStraw is reusable for single-client use, dishwasher-safe, and compatible with a variety of drinking containers such as cups and bottles. It may also be used with a standard 1/4-inch drinking straw.
