Product Description
This white AliMed SafeStraw reusable straw holder is designed to assist with oral motor control of liquid bolus by regulating the amount of fluid drawn through the straw at one time. The internal chamber uses a one-way valve and float mechanism to control flow, with each suck delivering approximately one teaspoon of liquid. When sucking stops, the float returns to the bottom of the chamber and is ready for the next drink. The discreet design fits a variety of containers, including cups and bottles, and can be used with the included single-use drinking straws or with your own 1/4" drinking straw. The SafeStraw is reusable for single-client use and is dishwasher-safe.
