The Core Adjustable Heel Lift in small size is designed to add lift under the heel of the shorter leg and help address discomfort associated with leg length discrepancies. It also provides cushioning and shock absorption for use in closed heel footwear.
Product Description
This adjustable heel lift is built with three layers of 1/8" sponge rubber secured with industrial-grade adhesive, allowing the height to be reduced as needed by peeling away layers. Full thickness measures 0.375" (9.5 mm) and can be adjusted down to 0.125" (3.2 mm) for a more customized fit. A rubber bottom helps keep the lift in place inside closed heel footwear, while the vinyl surface is treated to help resist UV exposure and mildew. It may be used as a heel pad or to help absorb shock from heel strike. For certain applications, such as heel spurs or Achilles tendonitis, the lift may be used bilaterally to help avoid creating a leg length deficiency. Layers can also be reattached with heavy duty rubber cement if needed.
