The Liftup FlexStep V2 1000 2+2 steps, outdoor model is a dual-purpose access system that functions as both stairs and a wheelchair lift. It is intended for installations where space is limited but dependable access is still required. The fixed staircase can be installed indoors or outdoors, and this model is configured for travel heights from 240 to 370 mm.
This 2-step version uses a short lower step and an extra-long upper step, creating a platform length of 1210 mm when converted for wheelchair use. The ramp folds down to allow users to roll onto and off the platform, then raises and locks before the lift moves. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform, an infra-red safety device between the steps, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms that signal lift movement. Batteries provide power in the event of an outage.
Fixed steps are available in widths of 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm, and the staircase can be supplied with round or square balustrades to coordinate with the system.
