Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 1000 is a 4-step outdoor stairlift system that functions as both a staircase and a platform lift for wheelchair users. It is intended for travel heights up to 925 mm, and for travel heights above 740 mm it uses the space-saving 2-stop point feature, where the upper step sits below the threshold and the threshold becomes step 5. The 4-step model includes a platform length of 1220 mm and can be configured with fixed steps in widths of 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm. A fixed staircase can be installed leading to the front wall and floor, with round or square balustrades available to suit the FlexStep design. For safe use, the ramp folds down for boarding and must be raised and locked before movement begins. Safety systems include pressure plates under the platform, an infra-red device between the steps, automatic stopping for overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms during operation. Batteries provide backup power in the event of an outage.
