Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 700 is a compact indoor accessibility solution that provides both steps and a lift in a single unit. It is intended for spaces where there is room for stairs, but not for a separate stairlift installation. This 6-step version is designed for travel heights up to 1250 mm, and travel above 1110 mm requires the space-saving 2-stop point feature, where the upper step sits below the upper threshold and the threshold functions as step 7. The model includes a platform length of 1830 mm and fixed steps with a 700 mm width.
The ramp folds down to allow wheelchair users to roll onto and off the platform, then raises and locks before movement begins. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected beneath it, an infra-red safety device between the steps to help reduce crushing risk, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide movement alerts, and built-in batteries supply power during an outage.
