Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 700 2+2 steps, outdoor model provides a compact way to integrate stairs and accessible lift access into the same installation. Intended for outdoor use, it functions as a fixed staircase and can be transformed into a wheelchair lift when needed. This design is well suited to tight spaces where both a full stair run and a separate stairlift would otherwise be impractical.
The 2-step configuration is intended for travel heights from 240 to 370 mm. It features a short lower step and an extra-long upper step, with a platform length of 1210 mm when converted for wheelchair use. The fixed staircase is installed to the front wall and floor, and round or square balustrades can be supplied to match the FlexStep installation.
Safety and operation features include a fold-down ramp for roll-on and roll-off access, ramp locking before movement, pressure plates under the platform to stop operation if an object is detected, infrared safety protection between the steps, and automatic stop protection in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms indicate lift movement, and built-in batteries provide power during an outage.
