Product Description
The FlexStep V2 700 is a 3-step outdoor stairlift system that functions as both a staircase and a lift platform for wheelchair users. It is intended for installations where fitting separate stairs and a stairlift would be difficult, offering a practical access solution in a compact footprint. A fixed staircase can be installed leading to the front wall and floor, and the system can be configured with round or square balustrades to coordinate with the FlexStep design.
The ramp folds down to allow the user to roll onto and off the platform, then raises and locks before lift movement begins. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected beneath it, infra-red protection between the steps to help reduce crushing risk, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide user feedback during operation, and built-in batteries supply power if the main supply is interrupted.
The 3-step model is intended for travel heights up to 74 mm. With one stop, the lifting height is 360-555 mm, and with an extra stop using 2 top stop software, the lifting height is 480-740 mm. Fixed steps are available in 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm widths.
