Product Description
Liftup FlexStep V2 is a dual-purpose system that functions as both steps and a lift for wheelchair users. This indoor model is intended for installations with a travel range from 240 to 370 mm and features a short lower step with an extra long upper step. When converted to wheelchair lift mode, the platform length is 1210 mm. The fixed staircase is installed to the front wall and floor, creating a compact access solution that integrates into existing spaces where room is limited.
The platform includes a fold-down ramp for rolling onto and off the lift. Before movement, the ramp is raised and locked in place. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected below, an infra-red safety device between the steps to help reduce the risk of crushing, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms provide movement alerts, and built-in batteries supply power during an outage. Fixed step widths are available in 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, or 1,000 mm to suit the installation.
