The Liftup FlexStep V2 800 is a 4-step outdoor stair and lift system designed to provide an integrated access solution where space is limited. It functions as a fixed staircase for everyday use and as a lift for wheelchair users, helping to combine two access needs in one installation. The 4-step model is intended for travel heights up to 925 mm, and applications above 740 mm require the space-saving 2-stop point feature, where the upper step sits below the upper threshold and the threshold becomes step 5 in the staircase sequence.
This model includes a platform length of 1220 mm and is available with fixed steps in multiple widths, including 800 mm. The staircase is installed to the front wall and floor and can be supplied with round or square balustrades to coordinate with the system. For wheelchair use, the ramp folds down to allow roll-on and roll-off access, then raises and locks before the lift begins to move. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected, infra-red protection between the steps, automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, and acoustic alarms that signal lift movement. Batteries are built into the system to provide power during an outage.
