Product Description
Liftup FlexStep V2 is a versatile access solution that functions as both a staircase and a lift platform for wheelchair users. The 3-step indoor model is intended for travel heights up to 74 mm and can be configured with one stop for a lifting height of 360-555 mm or with the 2 top stop software for a lifting height of 480-740 mm. Fixed steps may be installed to the front wall and floor, and the staircase can be supplied with round or square balustrades to suit the installation area.
The ramp folds down to allow entry and exit from the platform, then raises and locks before the lift moves. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected, infra-red protection between the steps to help reduce crushing risk, and automatic stop functions in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms signal lift movement, and built-in batteries provide power during an outage. This model is supplied in the 900 mm step width version and is suitable for indoor use where a combined stair and lift arrangement is required.
