Product Description
The Liftup FlexStep V2 900 is a flexible indoor access solution that functions as both a stairway and a lift platform. It is designed to help provide step access in locations where fitting a separate staircase and stairlift would be difficult. The 6-step configuration is intended for travel heights up to 1250 mm and includes a platform length of 1830 mm. For travel heights above 1110 mm, the space-saving 2-stop point feature is required, where the upper step sits below the upper threshold and the threshold acts as the seventh step.
The system includes a fold-down ramp for rolling onto and off the platform, and the ramp must be raised and locked before the lift moves. Safety features include pressure plates under the platform that stop operation if an object is detected beneath it, an infra-red safety device between the steps to help reduce the risk of crushing, and automatic stopping in the event of overload or uneven weight distribution. Acoustic alarms also alert the user during lift movement. Built-in batteries provide power in the event of an outage.
Fixed steps are available in multiple widths, and the staircase can be configured to integrate with existing spaces. The model is suitable for indoor use and can also be installed outdoors when required.
