Product Description

The Obi white pressure switch is an accessory intended only for use with Obi dining systems. It functions as one of the activation switches that helps rotate the plate and support food delivery during mealtime. Obi is designed to provide an independent dining experience for users with physical challenges that affect upper extremity motor control.

Obi is appropriate for adults and children and is compatible with all foods and liquids, provided food is prepared in appropriately sized pieces. For best performance, pieces should be no larger than 0.75" x 0.75" x 0.75", with a size between a pea and a grape considered ideal. Larger pieces may reduce spoon capture efficiency. Obi can deliver food up to 15.3" above the mounting surface and as low as 2" below it, with a maximum food delivery reach of 16" from the edge of the plate.
