Product Description
The Wheeleez Sandpiper All-Terrain Beach Wheelchair is a smaller version of the Sandcruiser, sized to fit a young child while maintaining the same versatile design. Built for both beach use and broader all-terrain access, it uses Wheeleez polyurethane balloon wheels to help the chair roll across sand and other difficult surfaces with less resistance. This makes it suitable for beaches, trails, sports fields, and other outdoor environments where conventional wheels may struggle.
The frame is made from electropolished 316 marine grade stainless steel for strength, durability, and improved resistance to oxidation. Upholstery is constructed from marine grade acrylic canvas that is UV stable and fabricated to manufacturer recommendations. It is also mold, rot, and saltwater resistant. The chair includes drop-nose frame connector pins for tool-free assembly and disassembly, adjustable leg rests with padded hinge protectors, padded armrests that swing up for transfers, and an anti-tip and brake bar that serves as a parking brake and helps prevent backward tipping.
Adjustable quick-release buckles allow the upholstery to be removed quickly for cleaning and storage. The Sandpiper is finished in bright yellow and is designed to support convenient transport, straightforward setup, and use across a range of outdoor environments.
