Product Description
The Accucold ARS12PV is an upright vaccine refrigerator engineered for reliable cold storage in pharmacy and clinical settings. It offers an adjustable temperature range from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius and uses a microprocessor controller located externally to help minimize door openings and protect stored contents from room-temperature exposure. A buffered probe in a glycol-filled bottle and an additional air-temperature sensor work together to provide more accurate cabinet monitoring, while the current and min/max temperature display can be viewed in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree.
This model includes audible and visual alarms for temperature excursions, power failure, door opening, and sensor failure. Remote alarm contacts are located at the rear, and a 1/2" probe port on the right side allows connection of additional monitoring devices. Forced air cooling with one internal fan supports temperature uniformity and quick recovery after door openings, while adjustable cycle defrost operation helps reduce temperature spikes. The interior includes seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves that can be positioned in 1/2" increments, LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch, and a durable white powder-coated metal interior. The cabinet features a white exterior with a blue-accent control panel, a factory-installed antimicrobial handle with silver ions, a factory-installed lock with two keys, magnetic gaskets for a secure seal, and hydrocarbon refrigerant for an energy-efficient design. It is also compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems.
