The Accucold ARS18PV is an 18 cu.ft. upright vaccine refrigerator designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine storage applications. It offers an adjustable temperature range from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius and uses an externally located microprocessor controller to help reduce door openings and limit exposure to ambient conditions. A buffered temperature probe housed in a glycol-filled bottle helps better reflect stored product temperature, while an additional sensor monitors air temperature for improved control.
Temperature readings and min/max history are displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. Audible and visual alarms alert users if temperatures move out of range, and additional alarms include power failure, door open, and sensor failure notifications. The unit also includes remote alarm contacts and a 1/2" probe port for added monitoring devices. Inside, forced air cooling with one internal fan helps maintain consistent temperatures and supports rapid recovery after door openings.
The refrigerator includes seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves that can be repositioned in 1/2" increments to help accommodate a wide range of stored items. LED interior lighting, a white powder coated metal interior, powerful magnetic gaskets, a factory-installed lock, and four 3" casters with brakes are also included. The white exterior features a blue accented control panel and a user-reversible door. Designed with hydrocarbon refrigerant, this model provides an energy-conscious storage solution and is compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems.
