Product Description
Accucold's Pharma-Vac Performance Series is purpose-built to support vaccine and medication storage needs in environments following current CDC, VFC, and VFA guidance. This 8 cu.ft. upright all-refrigerator features an externally located microprocessor controller, helping reduce door openings while allowing precise adjustment from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius. Temperature is monitored with a buffered probe housed in a glycol-filled bottle, along with an additional air sensor for improved control accuracy.
The unit includes current and min/max temperature display in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree, plus audible and visual alarms for out-of-range conditions, power failure, door open status, and sensor failure. Remote alarm contacts and a 1/2" probe port are included to support additional monitoring devices. Inside, two fans provide forced air cooling for temperature stability and rapid recovery after door openings, while adjustable cycle defrost operation helps reduce temperature fluctuation.
Storage flexibility is supported by seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves that can be set in 1/2" increments. The interior features white powder-coated metal construction for added durability and temperature retention, and LED lighting with an on/off rocker switch. Additional design details include a white cabinet with a blue accented control panel, antimicrobial silver ion handle, self-closing reversible door, factory-installed lock with two keys, magnetic gaskets, hydrocarbon refrigerant, and a hospital grade cord with a green dot plug. This model is also compatible with Pyxis, Omnicell, and AcuDose RX systems.
