Product Description
The Accucold ARS15PV is an upright all-refrigerator from the Pharma-Vac Performance Series, designed for pharmacy, medication, and vaccine applications. It is built to support storage practices aligned with CDC, VFC, and VFA guidance, and includes an externally located microprocessor temperature controller to help reduce door openings and protect stored contents from ambient temperature exposure. The buffered temperature probe is housed in a glycol-filled bottle to better reflect product temperature, and an additional sensor monitors air temperature for improved control.
This 15 cu.ft. model provides adjustable operation from +2 to +8 degrees Celsius and displays current and min/max temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. Audible and visual alarms are included for temperature out-of-range conditions, along with alerts for power failure, door open, and sensor failure. The unit also features remote alarm contacts and a 1/2" probe port for additional monitoring devices. Inside, adjustable cycle defrost operation helps avoid temperature spikes, while forced air cooling with one internal fan promotes uniform temperature distribution and quick recovery after door openings.
The cabinet includes seven adjustable plastic-coated wire shelves that can be positioned in 1/2" increments for flexible storage. LED interior lighting with an on/off rocker switch improves visibility, and the white powder-coated metal interior is designed for durability and temperature retention. Additional details include a white cabinet finish with a blue accented control panel, a user-reversible door, a factory-installed lock with two keys, magnetic gaskets for a secure seal, and a hospital grade cord with green dot plug. The antimicrobial handle is powder-coated with naturally occurring silver ions to help reduce germ spread.
