Detecto’s 6500 portable wheelchair scale combines a low-profile platform with easy-access, two-way ramps to support convenient patient weighing. The scale offers a 1,000 lb / 450 kg capacity and clinical readability of 0.2 lb / 0.1 kg. A black rubber mat helps provide traction, while the 2.2 in / 5.6 cm platform height supports accessibility during use. The remote MedVue indicator connects through a long coiled cable that extends up to 14 ft / 4.2 m, allowing the display to be positioned for tabletop or wall-mount viewing. Height, weight, and body mass index can be shown on the screen at the same time. The unit also includes an alphanumeric keypad and RS232 and USB ports, with optional Wi-Fi and Welch Allyn connectivity available.
